Why I Started This Blog

I’ve spent 7 years as a software engineer, learning, growing, and navigating challenges. Here’s why I decided to start this blog and how I hope to give back to the tech community.

Why I Started This Blog

Welcome to my tech blog! I’ve been working as a software engineer for over seven years, and I’ve finally decided it’s time to start documenting and sharing my journey. Over the years, I’ve relied heavily on the tech community tutorials, articles, and open-source projects have been instrumental in my growth. This blog is my way of giving back to that same community, sharing my insights, challenges, and successes along the way.

My Journey So Far

Since 2017, I’ve been deeply involved in software development, working across multiple tech stacks, including React, React Native, Node.js, PHP, AWS, and more. Along the way, I’ve transitioned from being a associate developer to a tech lead. Each step in my career has brought its own set of challenges and victories, and I’ve learned valuable lessons that I want to share with others who might be on a similar path.

There were times when I spent hours, if not days, trying to solve a specific problem, scouring the internet for advice. During those moments, I often thought, “I wish there was someone who could explain this in a simpler way.” That thought stuck with me and eventually led me to start this blog.

What You Can Expect From This Blog

I aim to make this blog a space for both practical learning and personal growth. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or experienced developer, I hope to provide content that’s useful for your journey. My blog will cover a range of topics, including:

  • Tutorials and Walkthroughs: Step-by-step guides on building real-world applications, like setting up a fullstack app, or working with AWS services.
  • Tech Insights: From cloud architecture and scaling applications to serverless technologies, I’ll break down complex topics in a way that’s approachable.
  • Career Growth: As someone who transitioned from a developer to a tech lead in a short span of time, I’ll share tips on how to navigate career progression in the tech industry.

Why Blogging Matters to Me

I’ve always believed in the value of learning by teaching. Writing forces you to break down concepts and think critically about how to explain them. It’s one thing to know how to build something; it’s another to be able to teach it effectively. Through this blog, I aim to strengthen my understanding while helping others along the way.

The tech industry moves fast, there’s always a new framework, tool, or best practice to learn. By documenting my experiences here, I can also keep myself accountable and ensure I’m continuously learning and growing. I see this blog as a living portfolio of my growth as a developer and leader.

Join Me on This Journey

If you’ve made it this far, thank you! I’m excited to kick off this journey, and I hope you’ll stick around for what’s to come. Whether you’re here for the tutorials, career insights, or just a fresh perspective on the tech world, I’m glad to have you with me.
